Emergency Travel Certificate

• ✓ Ghanaian Travel Certificates are issued only to persons who are not in possession of a Ghana Passport and require traveling to Ghana under an emergency situation.
• ✓ They are available for single journey to Ghana only and cannot be used for a return journey.
• ✓ The validity period is one (1) month.
• ✓ In addition to the completed application for Travel Certificate Form and the fee, applicants are required to produce evidence of Ghanaian nationality, such as a photocopy of a previous passport, original Birth/Baptism certificate, or any Ghanaian identity card, along with two (2) passport-sized pictures.
• ✓ A Travel Certificate applicant will be requested to report for an interview.
